Getting Together in Happy Snow Season in Bird’s Nest

Drawing successful experience of wintertime stadium operation from other countries, the sponsors launched a 2-month program "Happy Snow Season in Bird's Nest" on the playfield covering an area of 57,000 square meters with a main skiing field and a warm-up field. This is the largest snow sports center in Beijing where Beijingers and tourists from home and abroad can take part in fitness exercise this winter. Meanwhile, during the New Year, the Spring Festival and the 21th Winter Olympics, a variety of theme activities and performances will be held amidst festivity in the snow world of the Bird's Nest. These activities are part of the efforts to develop the city of Beijing into an international sports center in the Post-Olympic era.
