Beijing Zhong An Hotel was rebuilt on the site of the original Kui Jia Chang Hotel of the Ministry of Coal, which is located at No. 6 Kui Jia Chang Hu Tong, East Street of Beijing Railway Station - a golden hub in the city center - with the Second Ring Road and the newly-built park of the Great Wall Site of the Ming Dynasty to its east and the well-known Chang An Street to its north. The hotel was opened in 2004.
As an "economically expeditious hotel", Beijing Zhong An Hotel is directly under the OSC of the SSAPS, and has been assessed as a class-I hotel by the Government Offices Administration of the State Council.
