The Beijing Zhaolong Youth Hostel opened on May 19, 2000. The Beijing Zhaolong International Hostel is located behind the Zhaolong (Great Dragon) Hotel. Beijing's popular Sanlitun Bar Street, the Lufthansa shopping center and other tourist hot-spots are within easy walking distance of the hostel.
The hostel has 60 rooms, with two to six beds in each room. It features air-conditioning, 24-hour hot water, a self-catering dining room, laundry room, general store, game room and a reading room. Residents may use the heath center and other entertainment facilities at the 5-star Great Dragon (Zhaolong)Hotel. Inexpensive and quickly prepared meals are available for less than 20-yuan (US$2.4) at the Zhaolong Hotel.

Private locked-in luggage cabinet, public phone and safe deposit are located at the front desk. Bed linen is offered at the hostel and changed daily.
